The School Council meets to discuss a range of issues relating to school governance. The work of the school council is further supported by the hard work of our subcommittees (Finance, Environments and Community). A new School Council is formed every February/March via nomination, and voting is held if there are more candidates than vacancies. School Councillors are elected for two-year terms.
School Council meetings are generally open to all members of the school community. If you would like to find out more about getting involved in the School Council, or contributing via a subcommittee, please contact one of the School Council members below.

Sub-committees are open to all parents and carers, and we warmly welcome your involvement.
Sub-committees support the work of the School Council by focusing on specific areas such as finance, environment, and community engagement. They make recommendations to School Council and can include non-council members. Each sub-committee is coordinated by a School Council member and meets to focus on its specific area of responsibility.
Treasurer: Steve
Function: To help ensure the school’s finances are managed responsibly and effectively by reviewing financial matters, monitoring expenditure, and providing informed advice to School Council. This includes making recommendations about the budget, financial policies, and the school’s overall financial position to support sound decision-making and long-term sustainability.

Function:
To support the planning and organisation of initiatives that bring our school community together. This includes identifying and coordinating events and opportunities that promote inclusion and a strong sense of belonging. The sub-committee will make recommendations to School Council and support activities such as working bees and other community events. The focus is on creating a welcoming and connected environment for students, staff and families.

Function: To plan and coordinate fundraising initiatives that support the school’s priorities. This includes identifying and delivering activities such as events, drives and other opportunities to raise funds for the school. The sub-committee will make recommendations to School Council and support the organisation of key fundraising activities across the year. The focus is on ensuring fundraising efforts are well planned, sustainable and aligned to the needs of the school.
